High quality voice and video calls
Make secure video and voice calls with up to 32 people for free*. Your calls work across mobile devices using your phone’s Internet service, even on slow connections.

Group chats to keep you in contact
Stay in touch with your friends and family. End-to-end encrypted group chats let you share messages, photos, videos and documents across mobile and desktop.

Easy to use and just an amazing app to stay connected and share pictures and videos with everyone! EDIT: down to 1 star after update. Choosing photos to upload is horrible now! It doesn't show all my photos. The drop down menu to select the album sucks too. If I choose to see more, it only shows me 5 "collections" It used to be much easier before. I don't know why or how or who approved this but it sucks BAD.

App works fine for the most part, but anytime one person is on their desktop, the other people on the experience and echo on calls. It seems that WhatsApp removed their echo cancelation feature for desktop, as this hasn't been an issue for other similar apps like zoom and teams. It works fine when everyone is on their phone though. The issue is really annoying please update the app for desktop.

I've used Whatsapp for almost ten years and loved it until Facebook bought it out. I trust Whatsapp. I don't trust Facebook. ever since Facebook took over the app has wanted more and more access to my data, contacts, and permissions. This is no longer my primary app for messaging, and fallen from first to third as better, less intrusive messaging apps have taken its place. Remember to find balance when it comes to your personal data, and never go too far to sacrifice convenience for security.
